Project Introduction
The Mountain Resorts Branch (MRB) of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport (TACS) has received an Expression of Interest for a proposed all-seasons resort referred to as the South Anderson Mountain Resort. The resort is proposed by Spuzzum First Nation and is located in the South Anderson Valley, northwest of the Coquihalla Summit Recreation area.
Project Review Process
An Expression of Interest is an initial step in a multi-stage major project review process, under the All-Seasons Resort Policy. The Expression of Interest stage is preliminary and conceptual, aimed at assessing project feasibility. More detailed project information is developed should the project advance to subsequent stages. Should the review be successful, the proponent will be invited to move forward in the review process and submit a Formal Proposal. Additional public engagement would occur at that time.

Goal of Public Engagement
Public engagement is a key component of the Major Project Review process. At this Expression of Interest Stage, we are seeking public input for consideration in understanding the following:
- public interests as they relate to the proposal,
- activities, values and interests in the proposal area; and
- assessing project feasibility issues.
