The Province of B.C. is in the early stages of developing policy that will improve stewardship of the coastal marine environment in the province. We’ve prepared an Intentions Paper that outlines the intended direction for the Coastal Marine Strategy.
The Intentions Paper highlights what we want to do, and why. That is the reason we need your input on potential actions to consider in the development of the Coastal Marine Strategy.
This questionnaire will take about 15 minutes to complete. Any information you provide is collected in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Privacy Act (FOIPPA) and will be summarized with other responses so that individual responses remain anonymous. A summary of these responses will be included in a “What We Heard” report that will be released in mid-2023 and will be used to inform development of the Coastal Marine Strategy.
If you are a marine stakeholder, First Nation, environmental organization, or local government representative that wants to provide additional feedback on the Intentions Paper please consider making a formal written submission by clicking here.
Thank you in advance for your interest and feedback on the
development of a Coastal Marine Strategy for BC.
