This survey supports BC Parks’ review of a proposed Ski Resort Development Plan (SRDP) from Mt Seymour Resorts Ltd. We would like your views on Mt Seymour Resorts' 60-year plan to change and expand the resort at Mount Seymour Provincial Park.
Mt Seymour Resorts is located within Mount Seymour Provincial Park in the North Shore mountains. The area is within the ancestral territory of the xʷməθkwəy̓ əm (Musqueam), skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), səl̓ ílwətaɬ (Tsleil‑Waututh), and Stó:lō Nations.
The park is close to nearby communities and offers many outdoor activities in summer and winter. Because the resort operates in a provincial park, BC Parks must review and approve any proposed changes. BC Parks’ role is to protect representative and special natural places and support responsible recreation. Your feedback will help BC Parks decide whether the plan fits the goals or needs changes before the next review stage and approval.
The proposed SRDP is a draft. Mt Seymour Resorts Ltd. has stated they want to establish a vision for the future that meets the needs and has the support of the people who visit the park and resort. The engagement summary report will also be considered by Mt Seymour Resorts Ltd. in updating their proposed plan before further assessment and final review by BC Parks.

This survey does not replace consultation with First Nations. The Province works with First Nations through a separate process.
