The West Central Vancouver Island (WCVI) Forest Landscape Plan (FLP) is being developed government-to-government (G2G) with Mowachaht/Muchalaht First Nation (MMFN), Ka:yu:’k’t’h’/ Che:k’tles7et’h’ First Nations (KCFN), Ehattesaht Chinehkint First Nation (ECFN) and Nuchatlaht First Nation (NFN). Each Nation is working with the Province to develop a plan for their respective territory and landscapes. The project planning has identified key values and now wishes to engage with the public to understand the values local communities place on forest ecosystems to inform future forest management approaches.
