The Ministry of Children and Family Development is collecting feedback as part of its work to o address a need that exists within its current services by developing service for youth developing service for youth and integrating this new model within the ministry’s network of care. This engagement will be inclusive of families, service providers, advocates, experts, those with lived experience, Indigenous Peoples and Rights Holders, and key equity seeking groups.

The survey will ask about your feedback on the ministry’s Youth Emergency Shelter (YES) Service Expectations, what is most important to ensure crisis intervention and safety for youth, what is missing from the proposed model, and how the ministry can make the services more inviting and accessible for youth.
This online feedback form is 100% voluntary, and you can stop at any time. YES services can be a challenging and emotional topic. If you need someone to talk to, please reach out to one of these resources for additional support.
It is anticipated that this survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. If you have a longer response that you would like to submit, please email a written submission to the Ministry at MCF.Yes.Engagement@gov.bc.ca.
